K-On! seiyuu's

I've been itching to do a blog about this but, every time I decided to do it, I always ended up reading their biography and some random blogs about them.. But now! It's time to make it! Yeah! now! XD

But before anything, let me explain the meaning of Seiyuu. Seiyuu is spirit and heart of the anime characters. Its a japanese term for Voice actor. In Japan, voice actor were spelled and read like this, 声の俳優 koe no haiyū In convenience the word was shorten and make it like this,声優, meaning seiyuu.Enough of that, lets start the review! First up, Aki Toyosaki.

                                                    Aki Toyosaki (Yui Hirasawa)

Aki Toyosaki is a japanese singer and seiyuu from Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. Born on October 28, 1986. Her first major voice acting role was in 2007 voicing Amuro Ninagawa, the main character of Kenko Zenrakei Suieibu Umisho. She become the "Best New Actress" at the 4th Seiyuu Award in 2010 and "Best Actress in leading role" at the 5th Seiyuu Award in 2011 for her role as Yui Hirasawa.

Her first musical performance was with Eri Kitamura, a fellow seiyuu for the Minami-ke Biyori CD.But her musical career begun when she performed the 1st opening and ending themes of K-On!.Both album hits the top oricon charts, from April 27 to May 3, 2009.

She is a good singer and has big range of voice. If you watch the PV of Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam, you will know what I mean. I'm really really amaze how she perform and how she create different pitches for
her characters. I really love her upbeat, cute and sweet songs. Keep it up Ms. Aki! I love your songs..^^

She is affiliated in a seiyuu group created by her company Music Ray'n known as "Sphere".

Yoko Hikasa (Mio Akiyama)

Yoko Hikasa is a japanese seiyuu from Kanagawa Prefecture. Born on July 16, 1985. She decided to become a seiyuu because of her admiration at Naoko Takeuchi, the seiyuu of the main protagonist of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino. Her first role was on Sketchbook:full color's as Minamo Negishi.

She really has a talent in singing. The "Don't say lazy" song wherein, she is the main vocalist have been awarded by the Animation Kobe as the Best Song award in 2009. Her voice really is rocking the anime world, though don't make it a little bit of a high pitch. Your voice is for rock and ballad Ms.Yoko so, keep on rocking. But don't try metal rock though. ^_^ Despite her big voice, I found out that she also do cute loli moe voices by watching the anime Ro-Kyu-Bu!. It really cute! XD

She is currently affiliated in a seiyuu group known as "Ro-Kyu-bu!". I think she is now pursuing a singing career, lets just wait and see.

Satomi Sato ( Ritsu Tainaka)

Satomi Sato also known as "Sugar" is a japanese seiyuu from Miyagi Prefecture. She was born on May 8, 1986. She was selected to be the 7th line-up assistants on the Miki Tomokazu's Radio Big Bang while studying at Tokyo Announce Gakuin in year 2006. She then form a unit known as Kisty but it was immediately ended on the same year.
Her voice Debut on 2008 as Mikage Yuzuki of Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae. She won the 5th "Best New Actress" in 2011 Seiyuu Award..
Thought her career did not immediately boom like her other fellow seiyuu's on K-On!, little by little she begun to be very known even outside japan. She was recently came out at Dannychoo's show Cultural Japan as a guest. If you don't know Danny choo, you can just search about him or just click this website (
http://www.dannychoo.com/).

For me, she is a great seiyuu and I really love her voice. She can do genki, moe and many more. I will definitely watch out for her other show. :D Keep it up Ms.Satomi. ^^

Minako Kotobuki (Tsumugi Kotobuki)

Coincidence? nah.. But yes, your not mistakenly reading it. Minako Kotobuki is a japanese singer and seiyuu from Hyogo Prefecture. She was born on September 17, 1991. She was one of the youngest seiyuu known since 2009.Her debut role was on K-On! as Tsumugi Kotobuki. Just like Aki, her musical career begun when she sung the 1st opening and ending themes of K-On! with her fellow seiyuu.

I don't know if this is real or not but, to what I have read on another site about seiyuus, she decided to become a seiyuu because, she heard their was an anime about earthquakes. Ms.Minako is a victim of earthquakes when she was a child so, I was a little bit shocked when I read this information.
Her voice is really refreshing into ear making you say, "lovely" while listening in her album. Your album were so lovely Ms.Minako, I love it.. ^^ I just recently realize that, Minako-san has the most cute voice of all the K-On seiyuu's. Well, that's my opinion.. :D

She also have done several live action movies like, "Blue Bird" and the award winning indie film entitled, "Ghost of Yesterday". She is also a member of the seiyuu group "Sphere".

Ayana Taketatsu (Azusa Nakano)
~nyan!

Ayana Taketatsu is a japanese seiyuu from Saitama Prefecture. Born on June 23, 1989.

Her debut role was on K-On! as Azusa Nakano. After that, her  career suddenly boomed. She then begun to dub Ako Suminoe of KissxSis, Vanilla in Yumeiro Patissiere and many more.

Not like her other fellow K-On! seiyuu who put effort in voicing their characters, Ayan put more effort in voicing Azusa sounding it more cute, sweet and helpless.  And that is one of the reason why you will love Azusa..Well that's my observation though, it doesn't mean the other's don't put efforts in dubbing their characters. ^^ ~nyan!

She have done a film entitled, "Light Novel no Tanoshi Kakikata".

Madoka Yonezawa (Ui Hirasawa)

Madoka Yonezawa is a japanese seiyuu from Osaka Prefecture. Little was known about her. It says that she love singing, dancing and painting.

Recently, she and the other 4 K-On! seiyuu (Aki Toyosaki, Yoko HIkasa, Satomi Sato and Ayana Taketatsu ) release a software application for Toshiba's Android phone REGZA. It's an application wherein, you can turn your REGZA phone into a remote control for the TV and DVD/BD. But it's for toshiba only though.

Just like Ayana, she also put more effort in dubbing Ui, specially in singing. I really love her sweet and cute voice. Try to listen to her song and you will be addicted.

Chika Fujitou (Nodoka Manabe)

Chika Fujito is a japanese seiyuu from Akashi, Hyogo. Born on July 16, 1985. Wah! Just like Yoko Hikasa! Double Celebration!! XD

Her first and debut role was Nodoka Manabe of K-On!. To what I have read in a certain japanese website, she know how to play piano and love composing song's.

Though a little bit of shy, her voice is so lovely. I really love it. ^^

Yoriko Nagata (Jun Suzuki)

Yoriko Nagata is a japanese seiyuu from Osaka. She was born on February 27,1984. She play Jun suzuki in K-On!, Miharu Mikuri in KissxSis, Sasha in Darker than Black, Jonu Crafty in Dog days and many more.

Their's a little known to about her though. And all I know is she is a seiyuu since 2006. But wow, she is very good while performing Junjou Bomber!! in "K-On!! live ~Come with me". I also love the Midnight Superstar of her's.

Asami Sanada (Sawako Yamanaka)

Asami Sanada is a japanese seiyuu from Nagano Prefecture. Born on September 8, 1977.

Her debut role is Dejiko in Di Gi Charat. She is also known as Vita from Magical Lyrical Nanoha and Jun Sakurada of Rozen Maiden. She love listening to music and love eating cakes.

It really amaze me that she can sing a metallic genre song. Though I didn't really listen to her song but when I watch her performance at the "K-On! live ~Let's Go" it really chills my skin. She's a great performer. So awesome.^^

The most funny and interesting fact about this seiyuu's are, they have a little common qualities to their characters in K-On!. Hahaha!! Strange but yes, they do have some qualities to their characters. Many people says that, even the people in Japan.

I really love this photo. Very cute.

Although they have different groups, they still form the Houkago Tea Time (HTT) group and perform a live performance. It turn's out to be a an AWESOME, AMAZING and ROCKING cOnCERT!!! I wish I was in that concert. As an overseas fan and a student, it is really a burden for me to go their. I wish they make a live event again wherein, I'm able to go their. I'll pray for that.. ^___^ HTT won the 4th seiyuu Awards for the "Best Musical Performance" in 2010.

And that's it, next up is the their live event.^^
