Kokoro Connect

Hi everyone! This article is about a well known anime, manga and light novel today, known as Kokoro Connect (ココロコネクト). You can consider it as my first impression of this series, though I didn't consider it to myself. Okay, lets get going!

Kokoro Connect was about five members of school cultural club who ended up switching bodies in an unknown reason. I first encounter Kokoro Connect while browsing some information about Yukiko Horiguchi also known as Shiromizakana.( I was one of her fan that's why.) Kokoro Connect was originally a light novel, then they adapted it as a manga. After realizing that it has a manga, I begun looking for it on the net and start reading some of the chapter.  Its a little sad since the manga has only 2 chapter uploaded online. One day, while browsing some article at Anime News Network, I came across this awesome news. Its about the anime adaptation of this the series. I was really happy by after reading it.

While looking at the characters, do you remember something? Well, as you can see, the original character designer of the Kokoro Connect was none other than Yukiko Horiguchi who also design some anime character in a well known company known as Kyoto Animation. The anime that she did the illustration were Lucky Star and K-On!. Now, do you realize something?

Upon releasing the light novel, people who've seen it thought and made some humor that it was K-On! clone. As the manga release, up until now as the anime already been broadcasting, the humor become stronger. They concluded it like this.

Oww..

They have a point though. Maybe she did it on purpose? Or maybe it was only a coincidence since the time the novel was on the making, K-On! was also on the run and reigning. Well, you can't blame her, as a fan you can't stop being inspired at things that you really love. As you can see most of the staff in K-On!, the director, animator, musicians, seiyuu (voice actress/actor) and etc., were all fans of this anime. They gave all of their loving, sweat and blood in making this anime successful. If you know what an artist mind run, maybe you will understand me. Since Kokoro Connect was about switching personality development, (Yeah, I edit this, I find it to be like that.) I think it will really fit the theme if she design something like this.

You can compare the character design of the two but don't be fool of the moeness content. Kokoro Connect is way too different than K-On! It is more serious, has more heavy drama with a little tragic content and has romantic thing in the series. Though they have the same impact (The impact of wanting more.) but, in a different way. I must say that, Sadanatsu Anda the writer of Kokoro Connect was really amazing. Good JOB! Sadanatsu-san.

Sweet.~♥

I was really wondering why KyoAni did not adapt this novel. I think if they did, for sure, they will reign again. Too bad Silver Link got it. Maybe next time KyoAni. Well, I'm still watching it. When the series end, I'll be reviewing it just like the other anime review that I made. Well, hopefully. Until next time then. God Bless!

REVIEW: THE iDOLM@STER (Anime)

Its been a long time since I made an anime review. Well, I've been busy for this past few days. I mean, busy lazying out. Hahaha! Well then, lets start the review shall we.

iDOLM@STER was originally a arcade game by Namco wherein the player plays as the producer. He or she will then need to work with a selection of idol's and make them a successful Japanese idol's.

To tell you the truth at first, I really don't like to watch this anime because of a funny reason, the 'idol' word on it. In show business world, I don't really pay much attention to those so called "idols","actress" or "actor". I only pay attention to "singers", "band", "artist/animators", "composers", "director/producer", "voice actress/actor" and "musicians". Well, its not that I don't like them, I just don't like that word, until now. But my friend keep telling me to watch it and so I did.

I never thought that I will watch iDOLM@STER two times. I first watch it on the internet, then the second time, I download it and watch it on my PC. Now, I was also addicted to their songs! And because of them, I want to buy a PS3. Well, hopefully if I could find a new job. Please pray for me everyone. Onegai! Thank you in advance!

Before you watch The iDOLM@STER anime, I suggest that you read some of the info of each characters so that, you will fully understand the whole story. Here's a good website for your reference:  (http://www.project-imas.com/w/Main_Page). If you have more knowledge about iDOLM@STER and willing to add that knowledge in their website, feel free to contact them. I think they're looking for more people to help them on their website.

Well lets go back to the review shall we. The iDOLM@STER teach us the life of a person who's living in a show-business  world. Every characters has a different reason why they want to be an Idol. For example, Chihaya, she really don't want to be an idol but, in this kind of work, she has an opportunity to sing. Another example is Makoto, she want to become an idol because she want to become more feminine and everyone specially guys could see her a true girl.

I love all the characters in iDOLM@STER. Each of them has a unique personalities and stories. But theirs this character that got stuck in my heart or should a say, she just strike my heart into pieces. And this is Haruka.

Haruka, I understand you very well.

WARNING!! SPOILER ALERT!!
The iDOLM@STER episode 24 was the strongest episode in the whole series for me. It will pierce right in through your heart, so don't forget to keep some tissue beside you while watching it. The story was about Haruka. It illustrate how Haruka treasure their friendship. Well you can really see it since episode 1 to end that she's the bridge of their friendship.

The story goes like this. The 765 Pro will have their 2nd live event, but all of them were too busy to practice together. Haruka tried so hard to bring all of them together. But in the end, they can't make it because of their busy schedules.

Because of the accident happen to producer, the stress in the audition and specially the desire of wanting and hoping to see everyone together again, Haruka suddenly broke out and went on hiatus.

While Haruka was on hiatus, Chihaya make a move and ask Ritsuko to arrange their schedule so that they can meet each other and have a talk about Haruka.

After reflecting herself and seeing all of her co-star idols. Haruka decided to come back at the 765 Pro office and meet up with everyone.

Huwa... I really can't consentrate because I'm crying while making the spoiler so, sorry for a poor story. Well, seriously, in this episode, it makes me like Haruka more and Miki too. hehehe.. Oh yeah, Miki is my number one favorite character in the series by the way because, we have the same hobby. Lazing around. Hohohoho...

One of the most epic quote in iDOLM@STER:
Haruka:
"(It was like a dream) Was it a dream, those days of happiness? Just where? (Time keeps quickly passes by, while leaving me behind by myself.) What should I do?! Just what should I?! I don't- know. I just don't know! (I have to do my best... I have to do my best... right?) No matter how cold, will I face my dream again? Yes, I trusted in it. Time quickly passes... while leaving me behind by myself. Just what... should I do? Just what.... should... I?... I don't know. I just don't know..."

Did this quote ever pop up in your mind? Even if its not exactly the same words but the same in meaning? Even if you haven't watch iDOLM@STER yet? Me? It did..

I think most of us have a Haruka inside us. The desire to change and the desire to prevent any changes at all. I know in life, change's is very important. We change everyday not knowing it and we must accept that. But I believe that theirs something, in some circumstances that we are the same just like before. We just level up that's all.

Miki, you make me so proud here.
Miki:
"It felt like I would get lost. Miki had fun with idol work, because I could shine and get excited. That's why I only kept looking forward and kept running, but then I realized. If I kept going like this, I might lose sight of where I am. Wherever I go, I can have a place where I can say "I'm back", because there are people there smiling to me. It's because the people there smile."

Another scene that I really love was when Miki arrive to see the other idols. In this scene, it explains how Miki and everyone else treasure each other. Well, as you know, Miki is the ultimate idol in iDOLM@STER. She's lazy but when she finds her inspiration or being awaken (just like in the game), she is extremely powerful girl, strong-wiled and hardworking. She will advance forward without looking back (the wiki said so and that is in my understanding). But as you can see, Miki also has something to her co-star idols. Miki's saying is simple yet deep. It means, she see's her group as a family, a home where she can go back anytime whenever she feel tired.

Changing and advancing forward is important in our life. But when we get tired and lost, isn't it good if we just take a little break in a place where we can feel the love, happiness and caring of someone. A place where we called 'home'.

One of my favorite song in iDOLM@STER, though I don't like the guy singing in the background.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:24-25

REVIEW: Moshidora (Anime)

This is an old anime but, I want to give it a little review about it because of the awesomeness content of the anime. So, lets get started.

What if a management of Highschool baseball team read Duckers management book? What will happen then? Moshidora is an anime about managing a Baseball team by using a management book by Peter Duckers.  Moshidora objective is to teach people the essence of management but the main objective of this anime is to show us and encourage us to full fill our dream and to move on.
What I like about in this anime is the warm, heart breaking and move on setting that it gives. The character were so normal, no tsundere, no yandere, no abnormal ones. I love how Yoko Hikasa and Kana Hanazawa act on their characters which is the two main lead of the series, Kawashima Minami and Miyata Yuuki. Another thing was the opening and ending theme of the anime. The song is really fit to the series.

Yume note ( Dream Note) by Azusa

Daisuki da yo ( Oh how I love you ) by Momo

One of the most unforgettable scene in the anime was the two ending episodes. This really makes me cry to the end. Luckily, my family and friends is not around, hahaha! This anime makes me remember those days that makes my heart breaks and adding those two songs makes it more memorable and meaningful. Well, there are times in our life that we need to let go and move on and its one of the hardest thing that could ever come up in our life. But even though it happens, theirs one thing that will still remain, and its those precious memories that you made and it will forever keep in you heart. So, don't be sad, and don't be mad, even thought its hurting you so much, one day you will get over it and realize that the most precious gift that you own in this earth is those memory.

This anime genre is slice-of-life, drama and sport. If I give it a rate of 1 to 10, I'll rate it 9. I love this kind of anime, I recommend it to all ages.

REVIEW: Kill me Baby (Baby, Please Kill me)

Its been a month since I haven't post anything. Sorry about that, I've been busy and kinda lazy for awhile but today, I'll give you a quick review of one of my favorite new anime, "Kill me Baby (Baby, Please Kill me)".

Err.. Lets just declare that Sonya-chans gun is a Toy.. ^^

Kill me Baby is a story of two friends, Sonya the one who works as an assassin and Yasuna an airhead girl who always follow Sonya around. Together, will they find the true meaning of friendship? LOL XD

Kill me Baby is an anime full of gag and humorous thing about friendship. The thing that this anime got me is its unique title, "Kill me Baby", why did the creator entitle it like that? As I watch the opening and ending PV of the anime, and repeat the "Kill me Baby" thing in my head was then I realized why did the creator entitle it like that. Haven't you felt the feeling of wanting to 'kill' your friend, even though she or he is not doing anything to you. Uhmm.. How can I explain it. The 'kill' word that I'm telling you was not literally killing your friend. Its like an extreme, wanting, catching or drawing attention of your friend. Its like that, you love your friend so much that you want to kill him/her, though not literally and the love thing is different from being lovers. When you watch this video you will definitely understand what I'm saying.

Well, this anime is not that humorous to me. Their gags was not that catchy like "Nichijou" or "Azumangdaioh", but if you love slice-of-life, comedy and cute chibi girls, you will enjoy it. I also don't recommend this to children under age of 7 to 12. If I rate this anime from 1 to 10, I'll give it a 7.

REVIEW: Tamayura (Anime)

Photography is not all about expressing yourself, its about showing how amazing is GOD creation. ~M.L.C.M.

Tamayura is about an young girl name Fu Sawatari who moves back to Takehara, Hiroshima to start her first year high school. She really love's photography and use her deceased fathers Rollie 35S camera to take random photos. Tamayura is an anime series that has a four OVA and currently ongoing entitled "Tamayura ~hitotose~".

Here are the seiyuu's of Tamayura.

And here is the ending theme of the ongoing series of Tamayura or also known as "Tamayura ~hitotose~". When I first heard this song, my tears suddenly went out. I don't know why, maybe because of the message of the song. It seems that, God speaking to me while watching the video. It really got me. The title of the song is "Kamisama no Itazura (God's Trick)". The message that I got from this song was that, God knows everything. Sometimes, he will do something to you that will make you even stronger so, don't give up, have faith because everything will be alright.

Here is the PV of the video by Megumi Nakajima. Really, I just want to thank her for singing this song, so, Arigatou gozaimasu Nakajima-san. This song will surely be on my top list.

Admiring photo's just like Fu-chan and loving a slice of life anime, I really enjoy watching this. In addition to that, the songs were so awesome and relaxing. So if you want to watch a relaxing anime, I recommebd this to you. Over all, I give it a rating of 9 out of 10.

The earth is the LORD's and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for God has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.
Psalm 24:1-2

Another song that really catches my heart was the song "Yasashisa no Tsutsumerata nara (Engulf in Gentleness)". This song was one of the reason why I fell in love with this anime. This song means alot to me. Thank you Maaya Sakamoto for singing this song. ^^

K-On! Season 3?

My first post was accidentally deleted and I can't recover it anymore. (Stupid blogger.) Well lets just forget that and continue to talk about this topic.

I'm a K-On! fan since 2009 and until now, every time I re-watch some of its episode, they still makes me smile. I'm writing this article to give you some knowledge and to share my opinion about this issue.

After watching the season 2 ending, most of us felt sad or even cry to the fact that the anime ends here. No more music and no more inspiring cute musician to watch. But when Kakifly announced that he will restart the K-On manga with two separated stories, one with the original HTT band and the other is about the senior year of Azusa, we suddenly break into happiness and hope merge within us for the next season of K-On!.  So the question still remains, "Is their gonna be another season for K-On!?".

Spending my leisured time with nothing to do, I decided to search more about this topic through internet. I want to learn who is the pro and anti K-On! season 3. Why do these people want to have another season of K-On! and what do they want to do or to have for the K-On!!! season 3.

In my research, majority of us K-On fan wants to have another season of K-On, not just because of the animation it brings but, mostly because of the music it provides. While most of us want another season of K-On, some of us were contented on how did K-On end, but at the same time, those people really don't mind having or not having another season of K-On. Its just that, they want it to be more interesting than the other previous K-On season, specially the first season. So to KyoAni, your greatest enemy is none other than the first season of K-On!.. ^^

So if ever theirs another season of K-On, what do fans really want to have?  One hundred percents K-On fans really want is the music. The music made by the HTT group make them stressful free and sometimes it gives them inspiration to play music instruments or even compose songs.

The K-On voice actresses, or seiyuu's were one of the reason why the series become successful. Their voices really blend each other, even if you randomly paired them, they will definitely produce a good song. That's why fans begun predicting and suggesting who will voice the new characters if ever theirs another season of K-On. Some says they want to have Kana Hanazawa or Haruka Tomatsu or Saori Hayami or even Aoi Yuuki to voice over the other characters. They say it must be a well known seiyuu but, some say it must be a new seiyuu to make it more interesting. Well, for me, it doesn't matter as long as it can produce a wonderful song. But, if ever they put Kana Hanazawa and Haruka Tomatsu, I suggest they voice over Ayame Toshida and Sachi Hayashi. Kana-san as Ayame and Haruka as Sachi. It will be like, against their character types. As far as I know Kana-san always play the gentle type characters while Haruka-san play the hyper active one.  Its kinda interesting to see how will they perform those characters beside, they kinda resemble the two of them. Another reason is, I want to see Kana-san play drums. I don't mind if she voice over Sumire the goal is to see her playing drums, that's all.. :D But I still prefer new seiyuus.I want to see and hear them and bloom like the five main characters.

So, in my opinion, K-On !!! season 3 is possible because of some reason. First is because of the merchandise skyrocket it creates. Second is the fact that, K-On is about music. Isn't it boring just reading those sound effects and lyrics without knowing what were the rhythms of the music? Well, to all my fellow K-On fans out their, lets just wait and see what will KyoAni do after the movie and put it into Gods trust. ^^

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. ”
Proverbs 3:5-6

It will be interesting and awesome if they perform something like this. :D

Even Manny Pacquiao wants K-On!!! season 3.

Note: I didn't own some of the photos. Their are respectively own by their true owners.. ^^

CREEPY OTAKU

I just can't take it anymore, they really gone beyond the boundary of being an otaku in being a "CREEPY OTAKU". As you can see, I'm kinda also like a Otaku person but, being like that means you should know your boundary.

The Otaku word has a two meaning. In Japan Otaku means, a person who is obsess in anime, manga and etc, without an end. While in western Otaku means, a person who enjoy anime and manga. Looking at the Japanese meaning of Otaku makes me think that, being called an Otaku in Japan is something not really good to them.

One day, I was just browsing in the net when I saw a this photo.

Seeing this photo makes me kinda angry to the person whose doing something to Mio. It really creep's me out, even some other people felt that too. All I did was just close the browser, and just told myself that I can't do anything about that because its their life.

What makes me write about this article was because of the behavior of some Japanese Otaku, to some seiyuu or also known as voice actors/actresses. After a few weeks, I was just again, browsing on the net and found a creepy website who has some latest news about the seiyuus. I decided to read some articles just to learn some information about the people who is giving life to our lovable anime characters. I was so shocked that some otaku fans gave 'Death threats' to other seiyuus. To what I have read they just do it because, they feel that they've been betrayed. Knowing something about their favorite Seiyuu's life that they don't want, makes some Japanese Otaku mad and angry that it makes them a "Creepy Insane Otaku". Some other Otaku even crash their CD collection just because of the humor.

It really saddens me to know how other Japanese Otaku acts towards their obsession. Being an Otaku is not a awful thing. Supporting the series by buying merchandises and cheering their seiyuus is not really a bad thing but, doing something that someones life is on the line is different. Seiyuu's are also humans that has their own life. Though I admire the fact that we have different cultures but, as a human, we must also respect each and one of us.  I don't have any grudge towards Japanese Otaku the truth is, I do adore their admiration towards the anime/manga series. Its just that, their admiration becomes so extreme that they become so creepy and insane. All I can say to them is... Have a life..

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. ~ Galatians 5:13

And for my shout out for HTT.
